i retract my earlier statement about the padres being my favorite team. everyone knows i can't get enough of that orange and black :) i mean, the giants. i guess if i did have to pick a favorite baseball team it would be the giants, because that's who dev loves and since i love him i love the giants in extension. does that make sense? yeah it does.

2.5 months later...

i'll admit that i'm not a very good blogger. when i get home from work at night the last thing i want to do is get on my computer and have to 'think' again. that is why facebook is so good for me! it's mind numbing nothingness and also helps take care of my computer addiction. not a good thing.

dev and i just got back from one of the greatest cities in the world: san diego ca. it was a much needed vacation (that's right work, i'm looking at you...)

we went to sea world, the beach, a really boring padres game (though the padres are my new favorite baseball team :) don't tell dev i wrote that, he is a die hard giants fan thus having his wife cheer for anyone else could be detrimental to his being :)), old town, coronado and more beach! it was perfect!

kudos to dev for planning a wonderful vacation! he thought of it all by himself and booked all the tickets before i even knew what hit me. aw, i think i have the best husband :)

six months later...

i like to think i am a productive person and i know for a fact that devin is a very productive person. so that is why this last month has me quite baffled. our days have consisted on going to work, me going to a few classes and then hours upon hours of watching the most addictive tv show on tv.



we started on the second season about a month ago and are now halfway through the 5th season. i can't believe that the very last 24 aired last monday. i can't imagine a world where jack bauer and ctu aren't alive and saving the world.

i really think that if jack bauer and chuck norris got in a fight, jack would win. guns trump a round house kick. always.

'nother cool fact - desmond, from lost, is in the 5th season of 24. i <3 desmond.

devin graduated from byu a month ago with a bachelors degree in biology! i am super proud of him!

we also moved to a new apartment in Orem. i love it! we now are the proud owners (well, renters) of a dishwasher, washer and dryer! we're in heaven!

that's our life as of now! it's wonderful.

Merry Christmas {in a week}!

This past Sunday my dad took pictures of our family for the annual Wolsey Christmas Card. Dev and I had him sneak in a snapshot of the two of us. Isn't it so cute? Dev at least :)

I can't believe that Christmas is one week away! I've only bought about half of the gifts that I need to! Luckily Devin is really easy to shop for! But my parents, not so much. And his parents, I'm drawing a blank! Thankfully

I love the Christmas Shopping season. All of the 'hustle and bustle' is just so fun. {except I hate when I get stuck in Christmas traffic. booooo traffic}. I love how all of the stores are playing Christmas music: even Albertsons! (Which, by the way, isn't Albertsons anymore. Apparently it's Fresh Market, or something like that. I don't know what I am going to do without Albertsons! It was such a childhood staple!) And I looooove when I walk into the mall and see Santa there! It's such a magical time of year!

So to all of you, I hope that you make the most out of this next week! It is going to be a good one!

dear nicholas sparks,

i have a bone to pick with you. why do you write such heart wrenching stories? why do you write stories that keep me awake until 3 in the morning because i can't stop thinking about the book that i finished earlier that night? why does someone always have to die? why do (in most cases) the 'lovers' not end up together?

i've read two of your books in the last month, the last song and dear john. while the last song ended well, dear john didn't! ugh. in real life, sometimes, things work out. sometimes you end up with the person that you are hopelessley in love with (i did), sometimes people don't die before they should and sometimes PEOPLE ARE HAPPY! why can't you write about that??

just a thought.
